Jon joined Engage121 as an investor and CEO in 2001. In 1980, Jon founded Security Capital Management, a fixed income investment fund that arbitraged government securities, and in 1992, Greenwich Ventures, LLC, a private equity firm. Today, he possesses more than 25 years of experience with enterprise software. Jon earned his B.A. from Washington University and his M.B.A. and J.D. from George Washington University.

Kurt has been with Engage121 since 1999, primarily in the Chief Technology Officer role. Kurt has over 28 years’ experience developing leading edge communication software including, most recently, social media applications. Prior to Engage121, he was Vice President, Financial Messaging at Citigroup, managing the development of a global fund transfers system. Kurt holds a B.S. in Software/Hardware Engineering and an M.B.A. in MIS Management from the University of Connecticut. Outside of the office Kurt enjoys home improvement projects and is currently restoring (very slowly) a 90 year old farmhouse.

Jennifer joined Engage121 in 2006 having spent her career in the accounting field. In 1996, Jennifer joined KPMG, LLP, a public accounting firm, where she supervised a variety of audits for industrial, consumer, commercial and service companies, and in 2000, Reveo, Inc., a research and development company where she was the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Secretary. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She also spends her free time as a Girl Scout Brownie Leader to 10 eight year olds. Jennifer earned her B.S. in Accounting and Economics from Rutgers University and her CPA license from the state of New York.

With nearly 20 years of digital marketing and operations experience across media, financial services and education technology, Paul is a SaaS veteran with a successful track record of driving growth through new revenue channels. As Engage121’s Chief Revenue Officer, Paul oversees the company’s local social operations including sales, marketing, client service, and account management. The local social team supports both the software and professional services offerings, allowing clients to carefully manage their brands while generating local leads and sales.

Prior to joining Engage121, Paul served as Chief Revenue Officer at Heartland Publications and was a mentor at the Connecticut Innovations — TechStart incubator. Previously he was Vice President and Founding Partner of Renzulli Learning, a University of Connecticut spin-out, where he created and led a SaaS operation and successfully exited after five years. Paul has also held VP of Business Development positions at Viacom and E*TRADE Financial. Paul has extensive experience as an executive leader in new ventures and spin-outs that are backed by major institutions, and has developed services-oriented sales organizations with customer-driven product development teams.

Paul spends his spare time following his media mogul wife’s “mommy minute” adventures (@ctmommyminute) and trying to keep up with Sam and Ben on the Wii, ski slopes, ball field, and theater stage.

Evelyn’s background includes 20 years of commercial experience in digital and news based media. She founded, ran and subsequently sold her own media businesses and has been on the executive management boards of a number of large media companies. As a sales and marketing specialist, Evelyn has worked directly or in partnership with many of the leading global media organizations including The Associated Press, Dow Jones, Daily Mail Group, Datamonitor/informa, Capital Radio & United Business Media (UBM). Evelyn studied at St. Andrews and City University for her marketing (CIM) masters.

Outside the office Evelyn is mostly engaged in family life with three young children and enjoys travelling, the theater and working on her ‘masterchef’ skills.

Mike has been with Engage121 since 2011 in Client Services management roles. Mike brings over 10 years’ experience in customer support management in the software industry and is dedicated to providing a high quality, dependable client experience. Currently, as the Director of Client Services, Mike leads the Client Service team in provisioning new clients and supporting current clients who use the Engage121 software. Prior to Engage121, Mike was an Application Specialist and Software Engineer for a tech firm supplying publishing systems to the newspaper, magazine, book and directory industries.

Outside of the office, Mike is an avid skier and outdoorsman who frequents the mountains of New England and various slopes in the West. He is also a home brewer and Engage121’s resident beer, bourbon, and flannel expert.

Brian joined Engage121 in 2000 after a career with Harris Select where he was SVP overseeing marketing, sales and operations. He has held a number of key roles for Engage121 including heading up sales and marketing, managing the company’s Grassroots PR division, and introducing our social media marketing application to the marketplace. Brian grew up in a family of seven siblings in Massapequa, NY. He started his career in education, first as a secondary school teacher and then as a college admissions director. He holds a BA in English from Saint Michael’s College and a MSA in marketing from Western Connecticut State University.

Jack joined Engage121 in 2007 to consult with clients in Social Media Management and Marketing. Jack is an active member of the International Franchise Association, serving on the Marketing and Technology Committee and co-founding the annual IFA FranTech event. Prior to his 15 years of experience in media analysis, he was a radio host and program director. Jack earned his BA in Communications from Northern Illinois University. He blogs at Social Media Workbench and is the co-host of the weekly Social Geek Radio program and podcast.

Guy started his working life in the shipyards of the industrial North-east of England while studying Business and moved into sales after working at the BBC, Cats the Musical and in PR.

25 years on, having worked in publishing, advertising, information and software companies, he is still reveling in the client-facing role he loves, bringing Engage121 to European and UK-based Corporates and Agencies.

Guy’s weekends revolve around his family and sport (he is a qualified football (soccer) and cricket coach) including the occasional game of golf.

He is fanatically devoted to Newcastle United FC, the poor fool.

Ryan joined Engage121 in 2006 after six years working in video and TV production. Over the years, Ryan has filled a variety of roles in Sales, Client Services, Fulfilment and Product Management. Currently he serves as Product Development Manager where he is able to leverage his passion for technology and social media to ensure that our products stay current with the next big thing and our channel partners are able to integrate Engage121 seamlessly and efficiently.

Ryan enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two daughters, the primary subjects of his continued photography and video projects. An automotive enthusiast from a young age, he is currently in the process of restoring a 1964 Pontiac Lemans and a 1956 Plymouth Savoy.
