Management Team
Jon Victor, CEO
Jon joined Engage121 in 2001 having spent most of his career in the investment business. In 1980, Jon founded Security Capital Management, a fixed income investment fund that arbitraged government securities, and in 1992, Greenwich Ventures, LLC, a private equity firm. In 1998, Jon moved his family to Paris and spent the next few years trying to learn French and traveling extensively. Jon earned his B.A. from Washington University and his M.B.A. and J.D. from George Washington University.
Kurt Strumpf, Chief Technology Officer
Kurt joined Engage121 in 1999 following 4 years at Citicorp managing funds transfer systems. Kurt lives in Connecticut with his family and spends most weekends trucking music equipment for his kids' high school marching band. Kurt earned his B.S. in Software Engineering and MBA in MIS Management from the University of Connecticut.
Jennifer Tayntor, Controller
Jennifer joined Engage121 in 2006 having spent her career in accounting, first at KPMG in public accounting and then at Reveo, Inc., a research and development company. Jennifer is originally from sunny California, preferring the warm beach to cold Eastern winters. Jennifer earned her B.S. from Rutgers and her CPA license from the State of New Jersey.
Jack Serpa, Sales & Business Development
Jack Serpa is Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Jack has a track record of creating revenue in communications, software, and research. Early in his career, he created EntertainmentWire, a service of BusinessWire. He launched NorthStar Interactive, a provider of online focus groups, which he sold to Arbitron before joining Mediamark Research Inc to run their online research team. He helped increase revenue at Cision through organic growth and post-acquisition integration of companies including MediaMap, Multivision and Delahaye. Jack earned his bachelor's degree with a double major in Political Science and English from the University of Rhode Island and lives with his wife and two children in Wilton, CT.
David Whalen, Applications Developer
David joined Engage121 in 2006. A 15-year veteran of web application development, David has learned how to turn the web into an effective corporate marketing presence. Over his career, he has helped give birth to many well-known sites, including a sports franchise site and a top-10 blog. David is an avid traveler and amateur photographer. He holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in Astrophysics.
Sara Leide-Zytka, Client Services
Sara joined Engage121 in 2005. A former reporter for several newspapers and publications, Sara is also trained in Six Sigma Business Process Improvement. After spending several years working with our tech and operations teams, Sara has become a strong advocate for User Defined Development. She earned her B.A. from Central Connecticut State University and lives in Connecticut with her husband and English Springer Spaniel.
